Porter’s Diamond Model Continues

Factor Condition:   According to the traditional economic theory factors of production (labor, land, natural resources, capital, and infrastructure) determine the production and trade of the single nation. The franchisee for Boots has to determine whether these factors are appropriate or not. Bangladesh will get the advantage of large population with potential manpower from the perspective of skilled labor & infrastructure. Bangladesh also has many unemployed people who are looking for job every time. So, employees for operating the store & offices will be very much available. So labor will not be a factor of consideration. The location of the store can face much problem, as it is the most populated cities in Bangladesh and there are also others popular stores in different places. So finding a reasonable place with reasonable cost will be a problem. So, for a better location where Boots store can have potential customers and can reach to its target market, places like Gulshan ,Mohakhali, Banani, Uttara, Baridhara, or Dhanmondi can be the better options. By this they can earn more profit and can make enough sales of their products and survive in the market.
