their needed products. Because of lack of clean and well decorated places, people expect the departmental stores to be big & comfortable enough so that they can shop there. As we can see that other stores like Agora, Nandan etc. are already in Dhaka & are very successful in capturing the target market; Boots has a great opportunity to win the heart of the customers by giving them quality products.

Related & Supporting Industries: Boots will face most of the problem in this case. As the climate & geographical conditions of Bangladesh are very different from that of U.K., the quality raw materials that are essential for manufacturing the different products of Boots and to be an actual Boots product will be difficult to have or get. The firm may not find the quality of fragrance, vegetable oils etc. they may need to bring these from some other countries to maintain the quality of the products. As there are many product manufacturers are here in Bangladesh and most of them do not use up to date products or the products are not real so the Boots may have problem in manufacturing them in Bangladesh to develop their best quality products. If they manufacture the products here then they may not get the good quality materials to satisfy their customers. Same thing can be happen with other sorts of products too. So the cost of making the products & the price of the products might be unaffordable for few of the customers. In this case it would be better options to give the responsibility of manufacturing the products to the foreign manufacturers who are situated in Bangladesh so that the Bangladeshi employees who work on those manufacturing company can help to develop our economy.

Firm Strategy, Structure & Rivalry: The foreign companies do not face much problem in entering the Bangladesh market as the Government of Bangladesh
